Orientation Programme on Competitive Exams for UG Mathematics Students
Organized an Orientation Programme on Competitive Exams for UG Mathematics students on 12th January 2022. The resource person was Dr. Anoop N Nair, Assistant Professor, College of Engineering and Management, Punnapra.

Mathrix National Mathematics Day
The birthday of renowned mathematician Sri Srinivasa Ramanujan is observed as Indian National Mathematics day. The programme is conducted on 22nd December 2021. The day was celebrated by the students and teachers of the Department by organizing a programme named ‘Mathrix’, which includes a Presentation on Ramanujan, Quiz Competition, Chart Presentation on Recent Mathematical Trends, Games and Film Exhibition.A geometric construction contest, Geo Fiesta was also conducted as a part of ‘Mathrix’.

Webinar on Software Testing
The Department conducted a webinar on “Software Testing” on 01/08/2021. The Recourse person was Binsi E (Senior QA, Digipresnece, UAE). The programme was conducted via Google Meet. This webinar aims to give an exposure to the software testing field, which requires analytical and logical abilities which lie in the list of objectives of studying mathematics.

International Webinar On Fixed Point Theory
Department conducted an International Webinar on Fixed Point Theory in association with IQAC, PSMO College Tirurangadi, Kerala, on 18 December 2020. The Resource Person was Dr Mohammed Farid, Assistant Professor, Department of Mathematics, Deanship of Educational Services, Qassim University, KSA.

Meet the Talents
Department of Mathematics organized the “Meet the Talents” programme to honour the students who secured University Ranks and qualified for various competitive examinations on 6th December 2021. The programme highly motivated the first year BSc and MSc students to set their goals.

Our Department in association with Ganitha Vedi and Mathematics Association organized an invited talk on Competitive Exams and Institutions for Higher studies in Mathematics on May 22 2021. It is organized via Online mode. The resource person was Dr Hassain Maliyekkal, Post Doctoral Fellow, Institute of Mathematical Science, Chennai.
