Bird watching in the Western Ghats is a field study program conducted in partial fulfilment of the Certificate Course in Birding & Bird Survey offered by the Bhoomithrasena Club of PSMO College. It is scheduled as the second session of the course, the first session being a theory class in Bird watching. The field for the study is Marippuzha at Anakkampoyil, an ideal spot in the Western Ghats for birding. Thirty students, who have already enrolled in the course will attend the program which is organized in association with Friends of Nature.
