Achievements

Mr Ameer Favas V, student of fourth-semester B.Sc Botany got qualified for Summer Fellowship Programme under IASc for the year 2021. His proposal was approved for the fellowship programme on 9 April 2021 and got posted at CAS in Marine Biology, Annamalai University. He attended the programme for a duration of 45 days (6th September 2021 – 20th October 2021). The project was titled “Biosynthesis of Nanoparticles using root extracts of different species of Rhizophora” under the guidance of Dr K. Kathiresan, Annamalai University, Tamil Nadu.

Ms Shakira C, student of third semester BSc Botany was granted the students project titled ‘Phytochemical Characterization of the species Mimosa Diplotrica from selected areas of Malappuram District’ under the SPYTiS Scheme of Kerala State Council for Science, Technology and Environment, Govt. of Kerala in the year 2017. The project was successfully completed under the guidance of Mr Muhammad Anaz. K, Assistant Professor of Botany, PSMO College, Tirurangadi.
