As per the guidelines of the UGC, the Anti-ragging cell is functioning in the college. The cell, consisting of representatives of faculty members, parents, students and non-teaching staff is headed by the Principal and is coordinated by a faculty member. As per the directions of the Honorable Supreme Court of India and the orders of various authorities, ragging in any form inside and outside the campus will be dealt with, seriously. The cell functioning in the college take all necessary steps to spread the message that ragging is a non-bailable criminal offence and any type of behaviour like gestures, talk or action hurting the self-esteem of the person will come under the purview of ragging. The cell considers the recommendations of the anti-ragging squad and takes an appropriate decision. The campus offers zero tolerance to ragging such that any reported incident of ragging will lead to the expulsion of the accused from the college and the case will be handed over to the police with immediate effect. If someone is found to be guilty of committing ragging will be banned from undergoing education for three years in any institution of recognition, anywhere in India.
