Economics Former students Association (EFSA)
EFSA is an association of the former students of the Dept of Economics. EFSA carries out regularly innumerable activities which are beneficial for the students of the college in particular and the department in general. The activities range from financial contributions to support economically backward students of the department, providing general amenities for the department and making use of the skill and expertise of the former students. For this year EFSA has agreed to contribute one Desktop and a printer to the department. Regularly many former students of the department, who are presently holding glamorous positions at different parts of the country and abroad were handling classes to the present students. One such class this year was handled by Dr Vipin V, Assistant Professor, Indian Institute of Science Education & Research, Bhopal, Madhya Pradesh. Similarly, Dr Sujin S, Assistant Professor, Govt College, Kodanchery handled a class on Kerala Budget. The Annual Conference of EFSA 2021-22 was inaugurated by Janab MK Bava Sahib, the Chairman of, PSMO College Managing Committee. The function was presided over by Dr Azeez K, Principal, PSMO College. Dr Shibinu S, HOD Economics welcomed the gathering and Ms Ramla K proposed a vote of thanks and Mr Noushad Chengodan felicitated the function. The general body EFSA has elected a new Executive Committee and the term of the office committee is three years.
