Mr. Muhamed Shafi Ollakkan teaches physics for Undergraduate and Postgraduate students. Statistical Mechanics, Condensed Matter Physics, Nuclear Physics are a few of the papers he is teaching at this institute. He has also been researching Laser Produced Plasma and Nonlinear Optics at Raman Research Institute, Bangalore under the supervision of Prof Reji Philip. Mr Ollakkan has years of experience in working with femtosecond and nanosecond lasers and fast imaging techniques such as Streak Camera and ICCD. He has expertise in plasma spectroscopy, time-resolved imaging, and nonlinear optical characterization methods such as Z-scan, pump-probe spectroscopy etc. He has co-authored some of the publications mentioned elsewhere. He has participated in different National Programs of Science and Engineering Research Board (SERB), Govt of India.
