The aim of this programme is to provide the research scholars and faculties from the stream of social science with the basics of research methodology and data analysis necessary to begin the empirical analysis of primary data. To accomplish this aim
the pogramme covers introduction to research methodology and introductory statistical tools which are very necessary to learn and apply various univariate, bi variate and multivariate data analysis techniques.
The objective of this programme is to provide an introduction to the participant about
the subject of research methodology and statistics. It is aimed that, at the end of the
course, the participants should fearlessly be able to engage in empirical research by using statistical tools.
The programme is useful to understand basic concepts of research, organisation of raw data and data presentation, Sample size determination and sampling techniques, Probability distribution, importance normality, parametric and non parametric tests etc.
The Programme is just the beginning of the workshop series that the DCMS, PSMO college aims to conduct during this academic year. this series of worshop will cover entire univariate, bi variate and multivariate data analysis techniques.
